What you will need.
Assuming you are in our Coverage Area, you will
need a wireless Customer Premises Equipment (We sell
our long range equipment, PLUG and Play starting at
250$ for a single computer USB antenna or 350$
for a EtherNet CAT5 Version for Routers) - For the
Very Long Distance or Stuborn Spots (Red Signal Spots),
we have a EtherANT LR antenna that is Amplified and
Will turn a red signal into a green. The cost of an
EtherANT LR is 500$. We also Rent Equipment for our
customers who cannot afford a one time buy. We will
work for you to get your broadband!
How it works.
Wireless Internet is available by the use of Microwave
technology in the 2.4 Gighz range (Available in other
ranges also). We use a Radio Server that connects
to a amplified radio antenna, and broadcast a signal
over the air with standard internet protocols. We
then need a customer side antenna to take this signal
and pick it up and then send it to your computer.
We can do this many ways, but the simplest ways are
to use the CPE equipment provided by our vendors.
Wireless will never require you to have a phoneline
as it does not operate off of one, unlike DSL which
still requires you to have a telephone for access.

cases, Ascendance may provide the antenna at no charge,
if enough tenants use our services.
